Presentations at herpetology conference

The project PI attended the XIII Iberian Herpetology Conference (Aveiro, Portugal), where she presented and co-authored a few communications resulting from the project, in collaboration with other researchers:

Present and past climatic effects on the current distribution and genetic diversity of the Ribbed Newt (Pleurodeles waltl) (talk, first author)

Favourable areas for the co-occurrence of species with mostly parapatric distributions: the case of Iberian tree frogs and midwife toads (poster, last author)

Phylogeography and population history of the Western Spadefoot toad (Pelobates cultripes) inferred from mitochondrial and microsatellite markers (poster, second author)

All of these are also articles in preparation to submit to scientific journals.

[UPDATE: two of these are already published, and the other is under review]
